Galvanic current is used to refresh and revitalize the skin. Positive Pole may be used to close the follicles (pores) after the facial treatment, to decrease redness, as in mild acne, to prevent inflammation after comedones and blemish treatment, and to force acid PH solutions, such as astringent, into the skin. The Negative Pole may be used to stimulate the circulation of blood to dry skin and to force alkaline PH solution into the skin.
